For something so ephemeral, a bubble possesses a remarkable ability to capture our imagination. It is a moment of wonder made visible.

Gravity, however, is no illusion. It is an invisible force that governs everything around us—including the precision of a mechanical watch. For centuries, watchmakers have sought to counter its influence. Their most celebrated solution was the invention of the tourbillon: a mechanism conceived to minimise the effects of gravity on timekeeping by placing the regulating organ in constant motion.

In 2020, HORAGE ushered in a new era driven through innovation—delivering exceptional technical content and remarkable value with the introduction of the Tourbillon—bringing an in-house flying tourbillon to a wider audience than ever before. 

ROUND AND ROUND...and ROUND 

Three bubbles frame the core trio of the tourbillon, the mainspring and the micro-rotor which can all be viewed from the front side of the watch.

With the Autark Tourbillon Bubbles, HORAGE challenges convention once again, proving that performance watchmaking does not always have to take itself too seriously.

PREVAILING LOGIC

That certain watch components are always mounted at the rear of the movement and can only be viewed through the case back is turned on its head. Both sides of this movement are works of beauty.

Crucially you no longer need to remove the watch to see the automatic mechanism collecting energy.

Movement: K-TMR 2 inverted micro-rotor tourbillon, 3.6mm x 30mm, 72-hour power reserve, silicon spring & escapement, screw balance regulation, Ligatec flexible gear, hand-finished bridge decoration all finished in an Anthracite colour. 

Micro-Rotor: PT950 Platinum. 

Power Reserve: 72 Hours / 3 Day Power Reserve. 

Cage: Titanium flying tourbillon, 0.29 grams, 43-piece construction, silicon pallet fork, escape wheel and hairspring. 

Dimensions: Diameter 39.5mm, thickness of sub 9mm, lug to lug 48.3mm, lug width 22mm.
