Building on the success of the Lensman 2 range was no easy task: how could we keep the essence of a unique and groundbreaking product, whilst bringing changes and newness.

How can we adapt whilst staying true to ourselves? Lensman 2 blended novel features and technologies, creating an analogue tool watch in a digital age. We love to juxtapose and Lensman 2 packed in new vs. old, round vs. square, polished vs. matt.

For many of us a smartphone is all the camera that will ever be needed to grab essential memories, so if you love the style of Lensman 2 but scratched your head about all the photographic tech talk then our new Lensman 2 Global might just be the hot ticket.

Lensman 2 Global is a quintessentially modern 24 hr GMT watch. For HORAGE it is our very first timepiece to feature a world timer complication. With the independent 2nd hour hand and jump-setting, multiple time zones can quickly and effortlessly be adjusted and calculated. If the design was inspired by medium format cameras from a bygone era the technology inside is bang up-to date.

Our engineers developed the hugely versatile HORAGE K2 calibre to make full use of silicon technology: you’ll find a full balance suite of pallet fork, hairspring and wheel made of this lightweight and low friction material. The micro rotor design allows us to create a movement of just 3.6mm thickness. K2 equipped timepieces are COSC certified to -4/+6 seconds per day and boast an impressive +72 hour power reserve in-spite of their svelte dimensions.

Holding this modern powerhouse is our exo-skeleton case: a work of pure industrial art. This engineering marvel combines two hi-tech materials – aluminium and titanium, to fully leverage their physical characteristics.

Aluminium is rarely used in watchmaking in its natural state. Complex heat-treatment and surface hard anodizing allows HORAGE to take full advantage of the superlative low weight. A Grade 5 titanium cage is added protecting the lightweight core, the mirror polishing yields a fascinating contrast to the matt interior.

Wrapping this masterpiece of modern design around your wrist, a superlight, comfortable and easy-care rubber strap is fitted with a deployant buckle. With a total weight of under 70 grams and a case thickness of 9.98 mm the Lensman 2 Globe will disappear onto your wrist – at least until the next watch lover demands to see it close- up!
